Heart line dancing from Ransberg to Ransäter, Värmland
Already in 2004 we grew out of the barn in Ransberg and moved the event across the road to Ransäter Community Center.
The Heart Line Dance-weekend begins on Friday afternoon and runs to Sunday lunch with line dancing in two barns, north and south. There are several workshops during the weekend. Dancing takes place almost around the clock, with a short few breaks for things like sleeping and other bare necessities.
On Saturday evening there will be a festive social gathering with dinner *, dancing, entertainment, open stage; this takes place in the northern barn.
Brave souls are given the opportunity of an icy dip in the Klarälven river; for those not so inclined, a visit to our lovely cafeteria may be more suitable.
There are cabins for rent and camping opportunities throughout the weekend.
This will be a weekend with great dancing and a lot of laughter; something to remember for a long time! In the southern barn, we have newcomer and novice dancing. In the northern barn, we have novice and intermediate dancing.
Throughout the years, we've had the company of a number of great instructors;
Darren Bailey & Lana Williams, Dag Alexander, Daniel Trepat, Håkan Westerberg, James Mclauchlan, Kate Sala, Kelli Haugen, Matt Oakley, Raymond & Line Sarlemijn, Robert Mueller, Roy Verdonk, and many more.
Several of our instructors have also contributed: Barbro Södersten, Florijan Varga, Monica Davidsson, Pernilla Bäckström, Tanya Jernberg, Yvonne Jernberg, to name a just a few.
* The food comes from the Inn at community center.
Assorted vendors are on location; Ulrika's jewelry and others.
